Spring has Sprung

Flowers galore at the moment. Daffodils growing like weeds. Can you believe it? I've walked past front gardens where daffodils have crept up between the cracks in pavers!  I was talking to a lady at Thursday Night Knitting Group last night and she said that she plants her bulbs (usually in rows around the garden) and then finds they come up in all sorts of odd places. 'Those squirrels move them,' she said in an off-handed way. Meanwhile I thinking Squirrels, oh the creatures of nursery rhymes! I have seen only one bounding across a park in the early morning.

And have a look at this pretty courtyard just a few flats down from ours. The pretty little colourful flowers are primrose and they're blooming everywhere.

So given all this beauty, I couldn't not have a little garden of my own.  Little being the key word here: take a look at it.

At least it's something that greets me when I get home in the afternoon. It's bright and cheery and reminds me a little of Christmas.
